Common questions

Which connection should I start with?

RPC is a useful starting point for a wallet or a payment screen. Yellowstone gRPC suits a backend that needs continuous updates. With raw shreds, you run the decoder. You can use RPC alongside either feed.

Where do I find my endpoints and credentials?

Open Endpoints in the dashboard. Choose a subscription and location to see the endpoints and credentials available to you.

Can I monitor my usage?

Usage shows request counts and errors. Limits shows the quotas for your subscription.

Are preconfirmations the same as finality?

No. Seeing a transaction in a feed tells you it was observed. Check its execution result and commitment level before treating it as confirmed.
